
Delvin Grant, PH.D, MBA
Delvin Grant is an associate professor of Management Information Systems in the Driehaus College of Business, DePaul University. He served as the MIS and E-business Program Administrator since 2000. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management Information Systems, and an MBA in Information Systems from State University of New York at Binghamton. His bachelor’s degree is Mechanical Engineering from New York Institute of Technology.
Prior to teaching at DePaul University, he taught at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester New York. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in computer applications, systems analysis and design, project management, management information systems, information systems strategy, and database design.
He held visiting professorships at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden and the University of Jyvaskyla in Finland. He also taught in the Czech Republic, Bahrain, and Taiwan, and worked for IBM, Tecumseh, Merrill Lynch, and Edinburgh Consulting.
His primary research interests include methods for developing information systems in manufacturing and non-manufacturing companies, Total Quality Management, Information and Communication Technologies, and Action Research. He has published in Communications of the ACM, Information Technology and People, Information Systems Journal, Information Technology for Development, Business Process Management Journal, Journal of Organizational Computing and Electronic Commerce, International Journal of Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Computers & Industrial Engineering, Computers in Human Behavior, Journal of Computer Information Systems, Computers in Industry, Total Quality Management, Electronic Commerce Research, and several international conferences.
